Cyclades is a group of islands located in the middle of Aegean Sea. They form an imaginary circle around the island of Delos. They have unique rough landscape, traditional white washed houses, amazing blue waters and windmills and renowned nightlife. Some of the most famous Cyclades islands are Syros, Mykonos, Kythnos, Paros, Santorini and Ios. Cyclades offer a variety and combination of ways of entertainment. The visitor can experience the crazy, the quiet, the historic, the exotic all at the same time.

Paros, Serifos, Sifnos and Kythnos are worth visiting destinations. Just to name some places in each island, in Paros Paroikia Bay serves as a yacht charter base and is close to the island's capital, Naousa is in the north of the island and Marmara bay that is in the island's east. In Serifos Livadi bay is much frequented by charter yachts in the peak season during summer. Once interested in sailing in Cyclades we can recommend many place in more detail in each island, such as where to eat, go out, exactly which bays to visit etc.

With 4-6 hours daily sailing, you can move from one island to the other and to discover the local architecture and traditions, history and natural beauty. If you are beginners in sailing, we suggest to hire a professional skipper as they know the waters better and they can show you the definitely worth visiting places. A sailing cruise in Cyclades is characterized as moderate or difficult depending on the route you choose, but generally it is no easy. The prevailing wind in the summer is the "Meltemi", blowing from the North, begins in June, blows stronger in July and August at Force 5-6 and may occasionally reach Force 9. Our boat, which is 56 ft. is ideal to sail in Cyclades as it is widely suggested when cruising in Cyclades to choose a boat above 45 ft.
